Spicy Chili Shrimp Garlic Noodles

Combining the rich taste of Shrimp Society balls with the heat of chili flakes and the deep savoriness of soy and oyster sauce, this dish is the perfect comfort food with a kick.

Ingredients:

  • 8 cooked Shrimp Society balls

  • 2 servings cooked ramen noodles

  • 5 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 100 ml soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms

  • 1 tsp chili flakes

  • 6 spring onions (white part only)

  • ½ cup shredded carrot

  • 1 boiled egg, cut in half

  • For the sauce: Oyster sauce mixed with fresh lemon juice

  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Shrimp Balls

    • Follow the instructions on the package to cook the Shrimp Society balls using your preferred method. Set aside.

  2. Stir-fry the Veggies

    • Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the sliced mushrooms for about 2 minutes. Set aside.

    • Do the same with the white part of the spring onions and set aside.

  3. Prepare the Shrimp Balls

    • In the same pan, add the cooked shrimp balls, sesame oil, and oyster sauce. Stir-fry for about a minute, then set aside.

  4. Make the Sauce & Noodles

    • In a separate pan, melt the butter and add chili flakes.

    • Stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, then toss in the cooked ramen noodles. Stir for about a minute until the noodles are well coated in the sauce.

  5. Assemble the Bowl

    • Start with a base of the spicy garlic noodles.

    • Top with the cooked shrimp balls, mushrooms, stir-fried onions, shredded carrots, and the boiled egg.

    • Drizzle some of the lemon-oyster sauce over the dish and garnish with sesame seeds.

🔥 Tip: If you love extra heat, add a drizzle of chili oil or an extra pinch of chili flakes before serving!
